How can I crop a picture to get a certain part without losing the original?
I want to crop a picture so I can get just my face, but I do not want to lose the original in the process (it’s from my trip to France so it is really valuable to me). Can anybody help?
The problem I face is that when I crop it, it edits the original and does not make a copy. I am working with Picasa, if this helps.
you need to first copy the file from one directory on your computer to another. you will have it then in two places, so if you permanently alter one you have the other.
It’s always a great idea to back up important files on a CD or DVD because sooner or later all hard drives break. You don’t want to risk losing all those memories.
